Who is responsible

What we collect
- When you request a demo: name, email, company, industry, number of vessels and sites, and current maintenance system.
- When you subscribe to news: email address and language.
- Where the visit came from, such as an ad or social media post (UTM tags), and the page you landed on.
- If you accept cookies: information about how the site is used, from Google Analytics and HubSpot.
Why, and on what basis
- To answer your demo request and contact you about it, at your request.
- To send news and product updates, with your consent. You can unsubscribe in every email.
- Website analytics and measuring marketing, only with your consent.
Who processes data for us
- HubSpot: customer relationship management, forms and news emails. Data hosted in the European Union.
- Google: Google Analytics (website analytics) and Google Workspace (email).
- DigitalOcean: website hosting.
We never sell personal data.
Cookies
No analytics or marketing cookies are set until you agree. Your language choice is stored in your browser and is not sent to us.
- Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*): counts visits and usage.
- HubSpot (__hstc, hubspotutk, __hssc, __hssrc): connects visits to requests you send.
How long
We keep data no longer than needed for the conversation it belongs to. A subscription lasts until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, have it corrected or deleted, object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. Email tero@tero.is. You can also complain to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority (personuvernd.is).
